Degree Program Summary Information
Introduction:
Jesus learned to lived by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of his father. His father is our father, and we are learning to do what Jesus our pattern did. This school is a result of father’s words birthing it, and father’s voice will forever be at the center of all we do. That’s what we’re about; hearing the voice of our father so that we are taught by him directly, creating an environment of exchange that produces transformation. We share with each other, building databases of what each one receives, and link to each other’s words, to experience an educational paradigm that transforms us into being our pattern.
That’s what Meonics is about, becoming our pattern, so that we’re the pattern for others. Regardless of previous educational experience, vocation or calling, this degree program is first and foremost about becoming; being, before doing. We do as we learn, but all our doing is about bringing forth our being, then what we are, what we have become, comes through all that we do.
The Meonics Degree program is something completely new.
Background:
This University is birthed out of the words that God has given to Theodore Cottingham over the last several years. As Theodore spent his mornings with God he began to experience God as the one who speaks, who teaches, who reveals himself in ways beyond the natural ways of man. God began to reveal his heart and his desire for intimacy with people more than has ever been grasped. God began to reveal his character and his values, as well as instructing Theodore to begin a school where God could speak and teach directly!
God soon gave the name the school and said to incorporate, thus on February 11, 2004 the University of The New Covenant was formed as a school of prayer and practical creativity. God has spoken numerous times about how this school is to operate. These descriptions are sprinkled throughout many of the 2,000+ multi-page messages Theodore has received. The database of the words that God has given us are integral and central to this University; central to all it does and how it does it.
The University of The New Covenant does not operate like a traditional educational institution. It is completely different. For example, consider the entrance requirements. Have our entrance requirements come out of the mind of man? No, they have come directly out of the words God has given Theodore. God has spoken to this issue, and many of the issues of how He desires for us to operate so that He is at our center.
This document addresses some of the operational details of this University by quoting from the Central Database of the words God has given us.
Entrance requirements:
God has given His directive for entrance requirements; “not money and brains and demonstrated scores, but surrender, humility, contriteness of heart, learning even more so the power of making themselves of no reputation.” This quote is from the message entitle “My requirements for entrance – not money and brains and demonstrated scores, but surrender, humility, contriteness of heart…” (April 28, 2005).
A new paradigm:
God described the interaction of those involved with the University of The New Covenant this way: “The people coming to My University of The New Covenant understand there is a new paradigm to operate in and that this is a new day: students as teachers and teachers as students that operate as one” is the title of a message given us July 6, 2005. Other words God has given us about include:
“I am light and life and My light and life now come through My student teachers in ways never imagined, for each is a student and each is a teacher; and each one teaches each other. For each one listens to My voice and conveys My voice, writes My voice, publishes My voice, and submits what they have written to Me, to Me in others to learn and mature, not being in an environment of disdain, but full disclosure, incubation, encouragement, joy and laughter; maturity-seeking and nation-building.”
“Values displayed, hands-on, experientially experiencing the teaching of My teachers who are willing to embrace new paradigms of transmitting Me to Mine for transformation of students and teachers alike—simultaneously—learning from each other—simultaneously and synergistically—each empowering the other one—each empowering each other—to transcend the normal hum-drum of lecture which is retained so little, and acted upon less.”
“New paradigms of leadership. New paradigms of followership. New paradigms of simply how to operate in My power and obedience. Leadership of Me always breeds freedom.”
Competition of classmates:
The University has classes like no other. “There is no competition for all want to maximize Me in Me, which is each other; for I am My body.”
Academic excellence required:
Consider the rigor and academic excellence required, as stated by He who founds this school. “For My school of schools, My University raises the academic excellence and scholarship of My body, that permeates My body, lets Me teach, lets Me speak in the classroom and honors Me above all others. I am the master teacher. I am the primary teacher.”
“There are requirements which are stringent, for this is a place of academic excellence; not alone, but life excellence, providing a plan, path, and processes to develop with excellence all that I have given each one: A new day. Leadership writes. Leadership leads. Leadership speaks. Leadership listens to My word and those that I am My word, and listens to Me for My voice to come forth in writing, speaking, research and development, incubation mastering.”
“The kingdom of heaven advances being let into the earth by My who come now from all four points and beyond to study at My school that requires disciplines in diligence and slackers none.”
“Many will not graduate rejecting the discipline, the diligence required, the death that brings life to the carnal greed and normal ascension of one’s human mind to control all things and dictate to Me; submitting not to My of authoritarians, but submitting not to My humilitarians, placed in leadership by Me.”
Theme of this University:
“The theme of My school is adventure and exploration; for static, nothing is.
Completely new paradigms of learning, experiential learning, sharing, teaching, change, database development and usage, come forth.” “I am growing up My people and calling them to do business globally, to do ministry globally, to pray globally, to think globally, to live globally, and not remain in their little world of comfort and false peace.”
Accreditation:
Has God spoken about seeking accreditation? “There are no limits in Me, and I finally have a school that will teach by no limits and not be focused on rules and meeting accreditation standards set by these other than Me. I am the righteous judge. I am the Creator and I know the maximum potential of every person. And that is what I seek for My every student-teacher-participant. Educator school begin.”
Tuition:
What has God given about the economic model of the school, e.g. tuition? “My school is tuition free and operates on the basis of mammon not.” “They will learn and operate in and learn how to operate together as I designed, bringing forth creations, patents, trademarks, systems of only Me, sustenance and sustained by My bread, My blood, My heart, My altogether of the kingdom of heaven, never fearing the kingdom of earth.”
How do courses begin?
“I begin each course with that which will not choke nor overwhelm but that which will open the eyes of My spirit in each one to new realms and vistas developing their mastery of self not, but laying before each one in humility, their words in their life, their future in each other’s hands; if they only knew, here they will know.”
A school to birth schools:
He said this is a school to birth schools. “Nothing stands in the way of My University, My school to birth schools, My schools to birth forth freedom in the Priesthood of All Believers that now come forth to operate operating together, as I designed, as was My intention; when created and creation was created. Watch Me and invest. Watch Me invest. Watch Me vest Myself in My school of many schools, many lands, many peoples; many voices, all one voice coming forth: My voice.”
“I love My University of The New Covenant. It comes forth in gold array not, not yet, not yet gold visible, but golden visible. And much more so. The foundation is laid deep and unshaken will be. Preparing many for My shaking, My University does. My school to birth schools comes forth in mighty raiment of only Me, My value systems, the values of My heart, the values of My kingdom; the details of how to enter My kingdom and do business here on earth.”
Graduation:
Having given the above explanation of why and how we are operating, I will now address a most important issue: how one graduates.
“My gifted ones come. My ready graduate. Graduate not the unready—selective be—quality and excellence and diligence and skill and humility—leadership arising leadership.”
“My all’d ones that now graduate me’d not in/by the world’not’existent, but by/in me, by me/my hand.” “Graduate the lovely’ables, those I’ve loved, loving me enough to come lay with me; in my temple inside them, quieting life/all voices other. Solitude speaks not but I begin in.” “Who graduates when in what? I give you/them all they want/ask of Me in demonstration of passionate hearts, mind of one.”
“Me-ship/Meology emerges/emergent and My degree confers upon thee.
My degree confers upon My word-voice that river is, when/as I say/declare.”
“School of one, now school of many, and faculty/staff/student ratio of one to one, Me to Me, Me to My Mine, enlarges and speaks 7 languages not; all, one. Me. Largesse, finesse, disciplined diligence and creators in Me create Me. Watch Me, My fullness come forth in your classes I teach. Watch Me emerge emergent, matriculation spontaneous. Who can control? No one.“
“Enter the priesthood of all believers in Me, the order of Melchizedek in a new and free form fashion, anointed by only Me; graduate, graduating, bringing, assemblying, assimilating so many to graduate in Me; Meonics degrees and degrees of only Me, in Me, of Me, through Me; to each other, through each other.”
“My truth/word stands and who can ‘Enter Me-101′ for My all, 101-ing and graduating prematurely not, but upon/in My word spoken, declared, and all can know/know and see/celebrate My union of one’s.”
What these statements are describing is that one graduates when they experience an event of transformation whereby they become a new creation; the kind of new creation person that does the works that Jesus did, and greater. All the courses, projects, assignments, discussion forums, and the community we bring forth here, are first and foremost for this purpose.
Experiencing the new birth is the most significant transformation that a person can experience. This is described by Jesus’ words in John 3:8, and the other scriptures that speak of the new man, a new creature, a new creation; being one who now can do what father says, saying what father says, and do the works that Jesus did, as Jesus told us he wanted us to do in John 14:12.
John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Thus the only way we can do the works that Jesus did, and greater, is to become as he was, born again by the spirit of God. When a person experiences this they are no longer subject to the elementary rules or physics of this world, but truly become something new, as spoken in John 3:7-8.
John 3:7-8 Marvel not that I said unto you, you must be born again. The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.
God is his spirit. When we become birthed again by his spirit, transformed, we enter his kingdom in ways transcendent of man’s ways. This cannot be experienced by anything other than complete surrender to who He is. Then, in Covenant, we enter each other, becoming who each other is.
Meonics is a plan and path to experience the processes whereby one enters God and his kingdom in the here and now.
The first course in Meonics is Enter Me. Here are some words God has given about this course and program.
“So many now come to see, behold, and ‘Enter Me 101′-ing themselves by/into surrendership of their lordship to Lord/Lordship realize, embrace, see, surrender; emerging as one true man, woman.”
“Enter Me” maturing as a course introducing Jesus the Pattern, Priesthood of All Believers, The New Covenant, Kingdom of Heaven; all interactive and interacting in the gloriousness transcendent, really real.”
Books for this course:
There are a number of books and resource materials required in the Meonics degree program. Of those required, several booklets written by Theodore Cottingham help form the basis of the foundation. The titles include: Jesus the Pattern, the Priesthood of All Believers, The New Covenant, the Kingdom of Heaven, and Trinity Revealed.
Each one is an introduction to its subject area. All are on the University website in the Texts section. Each one is about 25 pages in length. It is highly recommended that these be read by everyone considering the University of The New Covenant.
Summary:
Meonics in the University of The New Covenant is more than a set of projects and papers forming courses and learning how to comply with static predefined prerequisites. Operating in the theme of adventure and exploration, all the faculty, staff, and students operate in a new paradigm that God is bringing forth, revealing it himself, as we seek him as one, with his voice being released in all of us.
